I am at home with my beautiful kids because of -20 degree weather, -41 with the wind chill and almost high noon! That is incredible. I feel like we live in Alaska!
Latest excitement was when our kitchen sink backed up and Tom endeavored to fix it. The first time it was salt and a couple prayers...it worked for one day. The next time was a few tools from Menards and mom getting soaked from head to toe under the sink as it back fired on me. (Tom was outside turning on and off the water....unfortunately when the water was off, the backed up water came out....our floor was floating!) Tom noticed water raining on him in the snow and negative degree weather and realized water was coming from our roof, that's when he turned off the water and it came out on me! The next idea was to put the hose in the roof and blow out the clog that direction. Well, with my muscles and Tom's icey roof skills, it worked! Check out the pics!

We are home and alive after our 22 hour journey(one way) to TEXAS to see my sis Kiersten! It was a GRAND adventure! The kids and my belly did well despite the 2 hour 30 mph set back and Tom locking the keys in the van. Kids LOVED the beach and we affectionately named Jaydon's visit, The GULP of Mexico. He was swept away by the waves at the gulf of mexico (Port Aransas) and swallowed sand and a seashell. He luckily barfed it up... but it didn't keep him away! THANKS KI for our winter get a way!
