Will life ever be the same?? I love this new addition, but I am still getting used to implementing a newborn's schedule into our once perfect schedule. Luckily, Elijah is very flexible and good. Eden has proven to be a HUGE help, and JJ holds him once in a while and tells me, "Mom, your baby is crying!" That's about it!!
Good news, Tom was chosen to be the one to do his internship at the VA hospital in Jackson, Mississippi--where he served his mission! He is so excited! He will be making history since he is the first chiropractic intern to go there!

Elijah Ashby Bench
Here he comes...ready or not!!
Eli started coming at 11 pm friday the 13th, and was born by Tom's hands at 3 am on the 14th! He was 7 lbs. 12 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long! Big boy for 2 weeks early! I was Strep B positive but the treatment didn't last the required 4 hours, but Eli wasn't waiting and neither was I!
He bruised his face because 1 push was too fast, but I'm glad it's over....I was sure that the nurses were going to have to mop up my legs and stitch them back on because that pain without meds was nuts....I have no idea how those pioneer women did it! Holy MOLY!
Elijah didn't get Strep B luckily and he continues to breastfeed really well. All went well, thank you Heavenly Father for this miraculous blessing and SIGH of relief!!!!!!!!!!
Big hug and thanks to those women who have really stepped up and helped with my other kids- YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!
