Tom Visits!

It was soooo wonderful and fun to have Tom visit for a couple days from Mississippi. I/We officially survived without him for a whole month...it was very hard to say the least! My sister Jayme has been here for 2 weeks and will leave on the 12th of August. She has been a heaven sent angel helper for us. So quick to grab on to our schedule and to "get my back" as we say. Eli is 18 pounds now and 27 inches tall...95% percentile...he is a monster! Eden is drawing cats and can almost write her name...she really loves school. Jaydon has been loving the Occupational Therapist among other home managment strategies to help calm his mixed recteptive/expressive disorder and SID (sensory integration disorder) all attributing to his growth and learning delays. He is taking off with his speech and social interaction!

Tom will be home in sept. He has been serving the veterans in mississippi under a chiropractor. He is learning alot about systems...of business and chiropractic. We are excited to have him be a part of our lives again.

As for me...I am alive! I keep busy with my munchkins, relief society presidency and recenty I have taken up sewing. I made two blankets, two pillows, and six burpcloths. It has been fun and fulfilling. We also have been working on our 72 hour kits...we are almost prepared fully!

That's it for now!

then there were four!

well, Tom is gone. Mississippi gets him for 3months while he learns the ropes of a chiropractic business through a doc in the VA hospital. So far things are great for him.

Life at home is still evening out. A new schedule with Jaydon and Eden in school 8-1230 and no dad. I hope we can mellow out...I'm tired of being mean, tired, ornery, impatient...and the list goes on.

Thanks to those who have already reached out to me.

On a more sore note...I exercise daily and biweekly with my personal trainer...Devin does a really good job whipping my sorry jello guts into shape...hopefully soon so I can walk up and down the stairs and do my hair without wincing in pain!

Done Finally!

It only took me 1 1/2 years to complete Amy's book. A part of me never wanted to finish. It was never perfect enough to perfectly tell the story of Amy Elise. I will treasure this book FOREVER. It is real tangible evidence that our sweet angel was here and taught us a lesson never forgot! I love you sweet baby AMY ELISE! You can view the book above!

wow...our house is for sale, tom goes to mississippi for VA internship, elijah is 6 weeks old, Jaydon finishes preschool, Eden learns to ride a bike, and mom looks forward to the day when she can exercise and get trimmed up...HA like that's gonna happen!

Will life ever be the same?? I love this new addition, but I am still getting used to implementing a newborn's schedule into our once perfect schedule. Luckily, Elijah is very flexible and good. Eden has proven to be a HUGE help, and JJ holds him once in a while and tells me, "Mom, your baby is crying!" That's about it!!

Good news, Tom was chosen to be the one to do his internship at the VA hospital in Jackson, Mississippi--where he served his mission! He is so excited! He will be making history since he is the first chiropractic intern to go there!

Elijah Ashby Bench

Here he comes...ready or not!!

Eli started coming at 11 pm friday the 13th, and was born by Tom's hands at 3 am on the 14th! He was 7 lbs. 12 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long! Big boy for 2 weeks early! I was Strep B positive but the treatment didn't last the required 4 hours, but Eli wasn't waiting and neither was I!

He bruised his face because 1 push was too fast, but I'm glad it's over....I was sure that the nurses were going to have to mop up my legs and stitch them back on because that pain without meds was nuts....I have no idea how those pioneer women did it! Holy MOLY!

Elijah didn't get Strep B luckily and he continues to breastfeed really well. All went well, thank you Heavenly Father for this miraculous blessing and SIGH of relief!!!!!!!!!!

Big hug and thanks to those women who have really stepped up and helped with my other kids- YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!
