We are home and alive after our 22 hour journey(one way) to TEXAS to see my sis Kiersten! It was a GRAND adventure! The kids and my belly did well despite the 2 hour 30 mph set back and Tom locking the keys in the van. Kids LOVED the beach and we affectionately named Jaydon's visit, The GULP of Mexico. He was swept away by the waves at the gulf of mexico (Port Aransas) and swallowed sand and a seashell. He luckily barfed it up... but it didn't keep him away! THANKS KI for our winter get a way!

Jaydon's Jungle

"Mom, that baby sounds like a little puppy...he loves me!!" (when holding Eli for the first time)
After spending 3 hours at an urgent care, Jaydon says, "mom, I want to go home now!"
We were playing a game of hide and seek, when JJ said the cutest thing. I was the hider/monster and the kids were supposed to find me. Of course they were both scared and Eden said to JJ, "Go find her!" and Jaydon said, "NO, you find her...I hide, and YOU SEEK!" I thought it was so funny that he made that connection that the seeker, was the one that had to find the "monster"
Jaydon might be little but he has "quick feet" In about 1.2 seconds Jaydon ran from one end of the mall to the other during the busy christmas shopping. This was his first time getting lost EVER- I pooped my pants and then frantically went looking for him. All he had to say for himself was, "I ran fast!" Is this a good thing?? The new rule is: sit and scream.
Jaydon told me today that he has a baby in his tummy too!
Jaydon learned today about the letter "P" I asked, What starts with "P"? He articulately said, "PINK PIG" it was sooo cute!
Jaydon points to letters on our computer reading, "Toshiba" and says...T, O, S, H, I, B, A,...computer" at least he's trying!
Jaydon got a cough from preschool!

Maren's Moments

Our Heavenly Father is a just and loving father. He is fair in ALL things. I realize every day the miracle of change and now, the miracle of life!
As I contemplate the crazy future of a new baby, career, house and life I feel only the comfort of the Lord that all will work out for the better if I can have FAITH. Hard.
I felt a connection between me and a grieving mother as I viewed pics of her stillborn son. Exactly the way Amy had...I am so greatful for my knowledge of the atonement, and of the plan of salvation.
Christmas shopping is done...thank you thanksgiving sales!
I held a chiropractic adjustment for the first time in 15 years! That's a lot of crack!
I am sick AGAIN after just getting over my first sickeness of the year...BLAST!
During our ultrasound on Monday, baby #4 (a boy) held up his hand a showed me the "I Love You" sign with his hand. It was a sweet morsel of love from our Heavenly Father....so neat to see!

Eden's Epiphanies

"mom, can you show me where the baby popped a hole in your tummy and came out??"
Eden asked me, "mom, do you have two or one babies in there?" When I told her one she was very dissappointed. She was sure we would both get one to take care of!
We were flipping through tv channels when Eden flipped out and said, "Mom, STOP! I want to watch the cheese show!" (referring to Sponge Bob, which she has never before known about!)
The other day Eden asked me, "Mom, is that your saddle?" I said, "NO, this is my bra!"
"Mom! Your potatoe has a booger on it!" Eden exclaimed when she saw the chive on my baked potatoe!
"You gotta be kiddin me dad..." Eden said when tom was late for bedtime stories.
Eden looking at a farm book yells out, "Mom! That cow has lots of penises!" Frantically I look to see her pointing to the cows udders...the bad part is that we were in a doctors office waiting!!!!
"Yeah Diarrhea's!" (referring to Quasadillas for dinner)
