Here he comes...ready or not!!
Eli started coming at 11 pm friday the 13th, and was born by Tom's hands at 3 am on the 14th! He was 7 lbs. 12 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long! Big boy for 2 weeks early! I was Strep B positive but the treatment didn't last the required 4 hours, but Eli wasn't waiting and neither was I!
He bruised his face because 1 push was too fast, but I'm glad it's over....I was sure that the nurses were going to have to mop up my legs and stitch them back on because that pain without meds was nuts....I have no idea how those pioneer women did it! Holy MOLY!
Elijah didn't get Strep B luckily and he continues to breastfeed really well. All went well, thank you Heavenly Father for this miraculous blessing and SIGH of relief!!!!!!!!!!
Big hug and thanks to those women who have really stepped up and helped with my other kids- YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!

I have to say, he is super adorable and his newborn smell is yummy!!
I could have stayed forever, but frequent visits will have to do!
Congratulations - he is so precious and beautiful!
I asked Jaydon what he'd like for us to bring for dinner some time soon and he asked for guinea pigs. What do you feed your kids?

congratulations Maren! What a great relief to have that baby in your arms! Natural is the only way to go! Good job! With Love. Jess
So I guess you and I are out of the loop of each other's lives cuz now I didn't know you were pregnant! What a surprise and what a cute baby boy! I sure wish I could be there to see you but sounds like you have great friends and family helping you out. Also, what a miracle he didn't get strep B because Carter did and had to stay in the hospital for a week-it was no fun at all. Best wishes with this new addition!
